Heard a good point today that the squad of players are OK at taking on new information hence why they play ok once a new manager comes in, but revert back to standard and that for me is where we are. Any1 disagree?

tav, goldson are so ensconced in that defence they couldn't change, they aren't capable anyway, neither can defend, that's the ultimate issues, we have defenders that can't defend as a team, i honestly can't see what team they would get into even in the English championship, we used to have England and Scotland captains, ,

They lack heart, are generally mediocre players and too many of them are serial losers with no belief whatsoever that they can beat Celtic. They need to be gone this summer and replaced with players that will die for the jersey!

I really think guys like Tav, Goldson, lunny have just too many bad battles scars and they just seem to fall apart when the pressure is on.
Great players and teams thrive when it's on but nowt ours, they just collapse like a cheap tent.
Time for gaffer to be brave in summer and shred the deadwood.

Comes down to having no real leader/ captain on the park imo - No Souness or B Ferguson types who (A) Know what it means to pull the jersey on and (B) They hate getting beaten - We have players who just look around at each other and accept the stupid mistakes being made on a regular basis - Bomber Brown would thump into some fair but hard tackles and team/ crowd would lift in unison - Celtic have been more willing to stick the boot in and be aggressive in many OF games as have Killie/ Mwell against us but we are the opposite - we seem so namby pamby and don't fancy a fight when required - gutless to say the least. Fed up with the finger pointing and waving of arms in air by certain players when we lose goals and we know who the culprits are week in week out - -love Tavs for his goals but if money there in summer take it and move on and hopefully move Goldson on as well (more difficult due to contract) - but team is falling back into the stale glow that was there before PC. If Butland was to go really we are looking at a new total defence and imo that would not be a bad thing -only issue is cash and PC would need to do some wheeling and dealing but so be it - fed up with same old errors and soft goals from defence!
