On the final day, Rangers beat Dunfermline Athletic 6-1 at Ibrox Stadium while Celtic could only win 4-0 at Kilmarnock, meaning Rangers won the title by a goal difference of one more than Celtic. This was the closest finish in the history of the SPL.

Is no one allowed to have a different opinion or disagree with you on here now? We all know that happened but by the laws of average how many titles has it come down to goal difference So the chances are this years title won’t ?.
I am not saying it can’t happen but unlikely.

All I’m saying is regardless of points usually the team with the best goal difference wins the league.

A good goal difference indicates you’re scrapping through less matches and finishing teams off.
