Looks like Doig edging closer to Torino while his current club may replace with Yilmaz if we're agreeable. Manhoff probably has a straight choice between us and Leicester so premier league football versus chance to play in Europe and win trophys.
My take on it is that there is money to spend but Clement is also very shrewd and probably has his own valuations of players. Nobody wants the vast overspending that got us in trouble years ago but if the right player at the right price becomes available, we will make a competitive offer.

As much as i rate/ like doig, we really don't need to be spending that money on a left back, when we currently have yilmaz who's now getting a proper run of games and is showing he is a good left back and for me anyway easily as good as if not better than doig ? If borna does depart, we bring in free agent kai wagner to fight it out with yilmaz for the no.3
jersey ? However if we can get the right winger manhoef for a suitable price we must do all we can to get him ?.

I think Doig would have been nice to get if he`s available but I don`t see left back as a priority unless one of our current two leaves. Winger and another striker priority for me.

The issue with LB as far as I'm aware is, Yilmaz wants away, just can't settle and Borna might go this window but definitely in summer
Doig is ideal replacement as his quality is know and he knows Scottish football.
Personally I like doig but would be delighted if we went for Cochrane of hearts.

If your talking to me orange, I think I reply when I can, if not me sorry for the confusion.
Looking at what's going on, manhoff seems to be a good player in a position we need strengthening and people on know on here seem to suggest his main options are us and Leicester. I never claim to have inside knowledge just offering my opinion as a Gers fan.
