That must be fake news, Peter.
Celtic fans, managers and players ( also ex ) don't do that sort of thing???.

MpH "holier than thou" ?

TT a lot of them are mate. They always will be. Hugh Dallas being attacked, forcing refs on strike etc funny how short memories are.

Exactly. Ignore the noise coming from anyone else. Rangers are entitled to ask what ever they want and there is evidence to show that all clubs are the same. It’s about time we start flexing our muscle as Scottish football has been shown to be even more mediocre when we are not at the top table.

Tom, I remember being close to the dugouts and Hay during the 1986 League Cup Final (Davie Cooper scored the winning goal via a pen), and he was going absolutely mental when the ref (Davie Syme I think it was) sent one of his players off by mistake (Tony somebody - cannot remember his name) .

I think Syme thought the player had slapped him on the back of the head when in fact he was hit by something thrown from the crowd. Well Hay went full tonto and was close to punching Syme's lights out until he reversed the decision when he realised what had happened. Don't know if Souness and Hay didn't like each other or whatever, but Hay was really the sorest of losers at the end, barely managing to shake any Rangers hand before disappearing up the tunnel. Never liked Hay and always felt he had that bitterness in him.

On a side note, this was the game where Mo Johnston was sent off after a set to with Stuart Munro. I saw Johnston plant the head on Munro and then do the sign of the cross after being sent off. The place went mental with guys next to me having to be prevented from going after him. Little did we know Mo was going to be joining us a couple of years later. A great day was had by all (well all the bears at least! ), even while running a gauntlet of angry celtic fans on our way to the train station. I'm still here to tell the tale, thank God.

As much I feel Collum was incompetent, we need to be careful. We have had a few dodgy penalties this season ourselves. What happens if all the smaller teams start asking for VAR communications everytime we get a 50/50 penalty call?
