Hi guys

Anymore on the yilmaz deal going through. Knew from the moment he came he wouldn't last long here made no major impact and doesn't show signs he will make it here in Scotland. how he does also where is irrelevant it's what players do for Rangers whilst here under contract that interests me and he has never cut the mustard unfortunately wish all the best but it was never going to work out from the minute I seen him not suited to our game.

really i guaranteed you yilmaz would not be here end of jan, you were apoplectic, you must have posted hundreds of times about this one guym i even remember telling you that i believed you were becoming obsessed with the boy, and not for the first time i have to say.

yilmaz had about 140 to 180 decent minutes for rangers, almost every game he was not good enough, i told you he would be gone, you became quite angry and upset and its strange to see someone posting the same thing about 30 times a day, he's gone, he wasn't good enough, now he's at a lower quality italian club
get over it mate , i really worry about the obsession you have with telling us about how you can see how good a player is, so can i

and i didn't see it in yilmaz.

Not sure who your first team at heart is? mine is Rangers football club and I and likewise Rangers fans I know only want the best possible players playing for us and helping the club win silverware and being successful doesn’t matter who the player is and what talent you may think they have if they don’t do it for our club and can’t help us achieve what we all want then their no use to us and wasting time paying their wage to sit idly by is of no use
Sorry I want successful players who will make a difference Yilamz has fallen short in this category and and I trust the manager moving him on thanks ?.

My star you know i agree with you on yilmaz but I always wonder why a poster goes in with heavy criticism on a player that appears to be showing form.

Suspect if you ask me.

If they can’t see that he’s a young player leaving his country behind for the first time and needs a little trust from our fans not hate then it’s pointless debating with them.

If Yilmaz leaves too Italy he will end up in one of their top teams in a season or two, he played four games in a row for us and got better every game, always looking forward and him coming into the midfield with runs really opened up teams unfortunately a think him leaving was agreed upon a while ago.

The boy failed to prove himself with 3 managers or the fans he was good enough to be our 1st choice LB the fact we are prepared to allow him to leave on a loan if you read reports tells you he's not good enough.

Yilmaz is a quality player and has also played at International level with Turkey, and since joining Rangers he has not had an extended run in the team for various reasons, namely Barasic and injury.
If he moves to Italy it’s a step up in terms of the league but not the club he is reportedly linked with.
Hopefully his future is sorted out soon for both him and Rangers.

Onewalter he ain’t failed with PC tho and it’s because he wants to leave he hasn’t settled. Think this boy will do just fine in his career.

My star apart from tt as he took an instant dislike to the boy the rest are just saying he ain’t good enough because they know he is leaving. They would change their tune if he stayed.

Also injuries have not helped him and he is a young boy in a different country. Some people are just clueless IMO.

Yilmaz has been a Turkish international at every level since 16.
That does not happen if you don't have quality, Simple.
Considering the options they have to choose from.
We should not be letting him go already, it's a mistake for sure if we do.
he will only get better and better from now going forward.
All he needed was a run and a manager that could give him a bit of confidence and help him settle in more, you can see it his last few performances, now we are seeing the real Yilmaz the same talent and ability that GVB clearly seen.

A friend asked me after i sent him the highlights of the Kilmarnock game, who's the new guy on the left lmfao, of course, That is Yilmaz mate the young talented Turkish lad iv'e been telling you about for a while ;)

Remeber Barisic didn't settle in for a while either and was pretty average until he adjusted.

Give Yilmaz the same chance at least.

TT, I think you know that I coached and scouted for a number of years, so here's my tuppence worth on Yilmaz. He is a good player who will have a decent career as a pro. Sadly, he has physical and mental limitations, and while he has gained a few caps, he is not of the level I would recommend for Rangers. Plus, I do believe he wants to leave, so maybe that's for the best.

My star and a few others are really missing the point!

It doesn't matter how good or not good a player is if he’s unhappy and not playing his best football and I haven’t seen anything of the sorts to say he would be a superstar for us then the manager is doing the correct thing moving him on.

On my previous posts up above I’ve clearly stated I’ve no interest in players not willing to play their best or show their best for the club and yilmaz as I’ve previously said has fallen short on this comes nowhere near some of the great left back to have graced our club and some hyping him up as a messiah.

I don’t think the bonding thing works the way it used to and people in close proximity for so long without escape can have the opposite effect. Some people need breathing room people that will bond and be friends will always find each other whether it’s Spain or Scotland.

Look at what happened to us after Dubai trip, form fell off and has done a couple times now after warm weather training camps.

But I also see how selling makes sense I just don’t think we should underestimate the value we are talking about turkeys possible left back for years

Injury and players desire to stay is a concern though and for me tips the scale to sell.
