As I said last week regarding DOF, Mitchell is a pipe dream and isn't happening at all.

Club have made an ambitious move to get Sam Jewell from Brighton as DOF, nothing formal just yet regarding him but personally I don't think he'd leave Brighton to come up.

Several other name are being targeted but it's a good sign people like Jewell are being targeted.

Regarding this Davie weir thing at Brighton.


What’s his actual role as I feel we all might be giving him more of a role than he actually has.

I’ve read a few diff places now that he’s head of loan players dept.

Hardly a high flying position.

Stevie Weir is technical director at Brighton mate, he overseas all men's a women's football, he also has a big part in recruitment only one man he has to answer too, very intelligent man mate, my lad signed for Brighton on his seventh birthday, I played against Weir many times when both at boys clubs but I certainly didn't now how intelligent he was until last summer.

Thanks Beale, I reall ye wasn’t sure what to believe as I had previously read something about him being head of loan player’s development and then got carried away with everyone saying he was basically the dof, albeit a diff name.
Then I read online today or yesterday that he was head of loan development again.

So I wasn’t sure atall.

Both Mitchell and weir would be my top picks weir as it speaks for itself really ? n the guys just a class act, also knows what we are all about n been through it all with us

Mitchell as it would be a be somdy who has proved n has done really well done well respected n I think will go on too better things so would n could be a top person ? too fill that position.
