Another bid submitted for Danilo today. £4.3m up front with add ons taking it to £5.5m total.

Feyenoord want circa £5m upfront. Talks ongoing.

Dessers is still a target but club unwilling to sanction €6.5m on a 28 year old with very little sell on value.

The only issue I would have with Danilo is his lack of height he's only around 5'8" playing in a league full of hammer throwing bully boys.

He will have plenty of big guys alongside him. I don't think that either Morelos or McCoist was much taller but it didn't stop them and in McCoist's day there were even more hammer throwers in the Scottish leagues!

KJB, Kyogo is 5’7 and he scored 25+ league goals last season. It’s irrelevant if you play to your players strengths. We have signed a lot of players so far who are 6ft and above. Sima is also 6’2/ 3.

I'd imagine it's the club testing the water with the Dutch team, better to go in low and then increase the offer, we can certainly afford him, we've spent very little money so far.

Before the window opened I guessed that Rangers summer budget was around the £7.5m mark. £10m if we were lucky.

Lammers, Cifuentes, and Danilo, will cost almost £10m all in. Then there’s signing on fees and stuff with the other players signed. I really do think that's it for now, and we’ll need to move players on before we continue spending and bringing bodies in.

If we do raise more money I really hope we spend it on the defense. A new CB is desperately needed. Souttar is far too injury prone, and Davies just isn’t built for Scottish football.
