As I said on previous update;

Tom Davies - Not a target for this window, is a player Beale wanted and would have attempted to sign this window, Everton tho are not prepared to sell this window. Therefore we have moved onto other targets. We had discussed a pre contract however progress was slow and player made it clear he wished to remain down south dependant on what offers. Our need for a CM is now and we aren’t prepared to wait about till summer.

Josh Onomah - Has been spoken to, there is a possibility he will move this summer, however this is all dependent on Fulham’s willingness to do business. They have an option to extend his deal.

Morgan Whittaker - A bid has been made of £1m, deal is likely to be agreed somewhere in the region of £1.5m. Player is eager to come.

Todd Cantwell - Frustrations in our attempts to sign him. Interest in him from PSV have only encouraged Norwich to drive the price up. We had agreed a pre contract with the player in principle however this was never set in stone. Very much in the balance.

Daniel Armstrong - A player we have been tracking and did make tentative enquiries re a swap deal involving Mayo. Killie valued him at £1.5m which the club have laughed off. No chance of this happening. Valuations are miles off.

Looks like we're doing bargin basement deals as usual slow they know what we were needing for a few seasons now and nothing last min signings when we need them now typical rangers.

I think window's can be hard unless you have the money too spend, i think teams hang back n are happy too pounce last min once they know how negotiations are going n what a club is asking, its just smart tactics why pay more or offer more than you need too let s

Cantwell will be a Rangers player. We have not even considered enquiring about Armstrong. The only Armstrong we would have any interest in is Stuart from Southampton.

Beale said we have never had any interest in Davies so don’t think you’re right on that one. Also there’s no way we’d agree a pre contract with cantwell and not have him sign it or else there would literally be 0 point in agreeing one. Why would we get a pre contract agreement reliant on our ability to sign him now? That would be an utter waste of time as if we agree to sign him now then a pre contract means nothing. In my opinion he’s already signed a pre contract with us and will join in the summer if we cannot strike a deal with Norwich to do it now. Beale said today some of the targets may happen now but we may have to wait until the summer which I believe he is relating to cantwell.

The longer you hang about more teams will test the resolve, at times i think we are penny pinching a little too much n losing out some we win some we don't but we seem too be taking too long at times i think our valueations are somtimes lowball
Hence why teams don't playball

You need too have the cash too spend.

Why it takes us a bit longer too come too a deal as we don't have as much too offer as psv or bormouth even got too keep within our remit as frustrating as can be at times.
