One of Beales priority signings in a January will be a GK.
He is looking for a new number 1 to challenge McGregor with view to replacing him for next season.
It is widely believed McGregor will retire at end of season and Beale wants the keeper in NOW.
Makes sense as McLaughlin has shown he is back up at best and Beale would want another senior keeper in to fight with McCrorie for number 1 who may be loaned out when new keeper comes to club in January.

I would like to see jack butland brought in January he’d be number 1 choice always think Ghana keeper has had a decent World Cup and st gallen number 1 whether he’d be the answer is another story hard to find a decent keeper unless you pay the money.

Kaiser Gustavo couldn't agree more ? when you see the likes of Holland giving a guy his International debut at the world cup what's wrong with giving mccrorie a run to see if. he can handle it. This European rule is going to kill a lot of young Scottish footballers careers hanging around clubs waiting for a chance that will never come. As soon as he played old firm game and looked the part he should have been the recognised no.2 and got all cup games to then bring in McLaughlin as no.2 was idiotic whay do we fear giving youth a chance we are getting done with aging players and guys that are not up to scratch so why not take the chance on mccrorie.

McCrorie deserves a shot in nets. He’s going to be the Scotland keeper very soon, and is already making their substitutes bench. He should’ve, and would’ve, be playing this season if not for the ridiculous extension given to McGregor.

Put the young guy in goals and see how he does. We might just have our next first-team keeper already. If not, then we bring someone else in. We won't know if he doesn’t get a chance.

Bringing someone else in just blocks his route to the first-steam again. If we do that do him the lad should demand a permanent move away. We’ve treated him very poorly in all this.
