Looks like we may have won the race to sign Aribo. can honestly say i have never seen him play. Although i have a pal who supports the wrong uns who also goes to a lot of Charlton games. He thinks the lad is a gem and gutted if they lot miss out on him. Suppose same as always jury will be out until proves otherwise. Needs to sign 1st tho i guess.

I've only seen the boy play in the playoffs and on you tube and he looks a unit very strong physically and appears to be good in the tackle and at driving forward.

I really hope we get him because as much as I'm happy with our central mid atm but one area I feel its has been lacking for such a long time is that big physical presence that can drive at defences with strength and pace from deep and make things happen. Aribo seems to be that sort of player.

Jack, docherty, rossiter, Kamara, Davis, halliday, arfield are all more suited to pass and movement. Imo none of them are players that drive at defences. I think the closest we have to that driving force is McCrorie.

As for the debate between Aribo and Turnbull. Turnbull imo is a very good player but very similar to what we already have. Again comes into the pass and movement bracket. Where if I was to compare Aribo he is more like the dims Rogic or Ntcham.

Our team have not had a decent player that can play that role in such a long time so it would be brill if we manage to sign him.

Paul, live in area, seen lot Charlton, he's what I would call skillful but hard and can run with ball. Good with ball at feet. Like him because he's difficult to get ball off. Not creative we demanded but still cracking player to take ball mid to front.

Can confirm Aribo is a stonking player, one Charlton do NOT want to go. He's not a DM as some had said, but a B2B-cum AM as miller says. He'd be a great addition to our squad.
