I heard from a mate yesterday who generally is in the know about stuff. Davis is all but done. Jordon Jones will sign a pre contract in January and also looking at kamara from Dundee. Just sharpening what I heard. Don't know much of kamara tbh.

I’ve said it before we will be spending very little if any cash in Jan. Davis apparently agreed, Jones is going to be either pre contract or small fee and Shankland will be tied up with deal for him to stay till end of season at Ayr.

We need far better than Jones and Shankland to take us forward. I'd be totally underwhelmed if this pair were the level of Stevie G's ambitions for Rangers. We've already got four left wingers on the books, all better than Jones, and Shankland is where he is because that's where he's decent.

We don't have the cash to compete with anyone. Our focus is to buy cheap, develop and sell on. Imo not the likes of Steve Davis. In his day was great but he will come back to Rangers, demand a big wage and has no sell in fee. That won't take the club forward. We need to start looking more at our own youth.

It’s £60k he is currently on. We will offer him a 18 with 1yr option for around £10-£15 and a signing on fee. He still have a market value of around £2-3 million. He has made his major money last 5 years and will take the security, playing again for the club he loves and want to help bring back success.
