Strange that all the loanees are playing again tonight, but our own young players are on the bench? You’d almost think these guys are contracted to play?

Hollow, because loaners are better players.

maybe its because the loanees are better than the players we own?

Im reading this on here and on other sites about the huge number of loanees we have starting - Last nights line up Mcgregor (owned), Tav (owned) Goldson (owned) Flannigan (owned) Jack (owned) Candeias (owned) Morelos (owned) - that's 7 out of 11 - The 4 loan players are Worral - he could easily be replaced by Katic who has huge potential but Worral currently in better form Coulibaly has been fantstic this season and Ejaria who was excellent last night, we do have players who can replace them and they have had game time but Arfield was injured and Rossiter not at full fitness were unavailable - we also have Mcrorie who is a fine player but not better than the others at this stage and lastly Ryan Kent, Our best player in recent times and maybe the best in the SPFL if he keeps it up, we are also blessed with Middleton who is an exciting prospect but would you honeslty not play Kent in the cureent form? We have a great squad and people are complaining about it - Unreal!

Rossiter is not registered for European games.

lol troll account. just cause opinions differ from yours. I've followed gers for 41 years. don't get me wrong if gers win title this year ill be over the moon. and forgive all. but i just can't see it. and then at end of the season most of these players will go and we will be in a worse position to stop the manky mob. seriously would you rather give rossitier or mccrorie a shout.

mccrorie eligable for euro due to age and youth develope player.

i agree the loans have been great. ejaria was unsure to begin with but he seems to grow into games as players are tiring and has a little trickery in him. worral commanding when ball on deck a little weak in air. kent awesome. and coulibaly awesome. and i'd try push sign last two perm. if guys like mccrorie and middleton going to improve they should either start against teams like hamilton or give them earlier appearances in ibrox games we are winning.

There’s nothing between Middleton and Kent, Katic and Worrall other than a contract which stats these player must play in Europe and the old firms. How do we expect to sign good young players (which we need to flip within a few years in order to make money) if these guys won’t play in bigger games? Let’s be honest, Kent and Ejaria aren’t premiership players and will end up in the championship or league one. Worrall was the 5th centre half in a mid table championship team. I’m not against the loanees being here, they will add value but it has to be a level playing field for our own players.

Hollow - what a waste of a post- obviously the wife not letting you speak again! Nothing between Middleton and Kent - about the length of paisley road west! . I like Middleton but a young lad learning his trade and one for the future. contracts that say they must play in Europe and old firm - only one man decides and that is our manager. Re worrell - again the manger trusts him above everyone and that’s why he is playing - simple as that. I am over the moon with our progress, in the mix for the league and TOP of our europa group not forgetting about semi final of league cup. Our manager and his back room staff have done a wonderful job - some have a short memory!

@hollow55 - so you’ve seen the actual contracts? Stop acting like a Tim. If you aren’t you’ve an opinion like the rest of us but not a very good one I’ll give you that!

Gersforlife. Why are you talking to me about Morelos! I've never said a bad word about him.

It'll be interesting to see the clauses in the contracts to see if any actually have a chance of signing permanently and at what fee.

Based on form to date, I think we'd need a large chunk, if not all of next season transfer budget to sign them.

Ojaria- settling well. Still think more to come. £2m?
Coulibally- started on fire. Still to get back to that. £1.5m?
Kent- Getting better and better. £2m?
Worrel- best game against spartac. £7m?

Think we'll maybe get 1 of these guys. Still be a bit of tinkering next season too, which is better than the wholesale changes in previous seasons.

18.) 27 Oct 2018
27 Oct 2018 14:22:51
There's no option on any of them.

19.) 27 Oct 2018
27 Oct 2018 14:25:22
To clarify, I mean there's no pre-agreed signing option. I'm not saying that a permanent transfer is out if the question. Except for Worall because his current club valuation is too high for us. Don't know what the others are valued at.

Kent was valued at 7mill last year when Bristol wanted him. I think unfortunately your values rather conservative
Forrest turned down 11 million in January from murnley in January.

Think we'll always have a few loan players, if that's the fees involved.

I suppose that's how the system is supposed to work, if you can't afford the fee and they improve your team.

Just leaves a gap to be filled at the end of the season.
