A friend in Hamburg says he has heard our club have been talking to Borussia Dortmund about the possibility of taking a striker called Alexander Isak on loan from January. He's a Swedish international and still a teenager, seemingly.

Never seen him play, although he is a decent purchase on fifa 19 haha.

Isak is supposedly rumoured to be the next Ibrahimovic, obviously still young and finding his feet but ‘could’ be a great signing. Even if it was just for a season loan, big strong, fast striker. They r hard to come by so would love to see him in a Gers kit.

Would imagine the Sadiq loan would have to be cancelled in January for us to get another striker in. Although I’m sure I read somewhere that Gerrard said that’s wouldn’t happen.

From what the gaffer said today then there may be a chunk of light for Sadiq! Time will tell.

Wouldn't know, BigYin, I'm far too old for computer games, but this appeared in a German magazine that a mate from Hamburg saw.

Jboy because we already have sadiq who is (currently) contributing nothing. Can’t see the point in having two young strikers on loan. Where’s the incentive for the likes of Andy Dallas and other youth strikers if we’re just going to loan other teams youth players?

If still in Europe and going for league we need a striker that contributes. Dallas no where near ready for first team.
