Said last night barisic fee was agreed and Declan John would go to Swansea on loan. Still expect windass to move on to Ipswich for around 2 million. Also looking at possible loans deals if Lafferty deal can’t be done.

Kazmania I would not rush to get windass away, or any other forward player till we have suitable replacements.
SG has chosen to build from the back, I'm fine with that

Think we have lots of options in this area now, Windass needs to do more to make the Central attacking mid his own, he is wasted on either wing so for me he is competing with Arfield, Ejaria and Dorrans for that role and we could sell him with little detriment to the team, I do like him though and think he will have a good career just wish he was having more impact on the pitch.

Buy out clause is 3 mill, isn"t It? So we'd be nuts to sell for less, if as you say he is looking for the move. If he isn't I wouldn't sell him.

Is Declan John a loan or is he going to Swansea permanently? If its permanent how much should we be looking for? IMO minimum of 2m with sell on of 20%. Probably being ambitious though. Thoughts?

Waghorn is not worth 8mil, that's just the english market proving its fecked up. In the real world he's not even worth a quarter of that. You can't expect windass to be worth much more when he struggles to make an impact in the majority of games. Windass like mckay, holt, garner, pena, herrera etc etc etc will never be good enough if we want to win titles👍.

He's only worth that coming from another english team. If waghorn stayed last year and scored 40 goals we still wouldn't have got anywhere near what he just sold for. he's never worth that. Average player.

Looks like you’re bang on with all 3 mate. Happy to see the back of Windass but the money needs reinvested in a new striker. Lafferty I would take for less than 500k but I would still want another striker.
