Yes cause he scored big deal! He ain’t good enough and if we want to win the league then we need far better quality than Morelos! Same applies for the midfield area, yes Arfield will add energy and more quality but we will still be overrun unless we add better quality in both areas!

Think Morelos showed last season he's more than capable of scoring goals, a little more composure when the pressures on him and he'd near be the finished article! Pretty sure working under StevieG will only enhance his game, and at 22, the best of him has yet to come!

RonnieR9 you are so negative about one of our players, Leave Morelos alone and just wait and see, for God sake he is only 22 and trust me I have seen worse 22 year old strikers who went on to become Legends. he has scored goals at every club he has played for since a young age and still lots to learn, he now has the players around him to become better and he has great coaching staff who will work with him on his game. So pipe down and try supporting the lad.

Stupid question blueberry! Gerrard didn’t have to suffer watching him for 90min several times last season! I’m not paid the big bucks to make these decisions! If a reasonable about of money is put on the table he will Probably be sold! His finishing is woeful, he clearly doesn’t understand the off side rule and his link up play is poor, not to mention is childish sulking! If he would have put away those easy chances against Celtic then maybe we would have been in a title fight. To start with I get what lots of people are saying when they mention the sitters he missed fair enough there really is no excuse for missing them. People are saying we need better, that may or may not be true we will find out as the season unfolds, but we clearly can't afford better as we are looking at loan signings now instead of buying a striker so you have to make so with what you have, I for 1 like him and I don't agree that his link up play is poor I think that's a strength of his game. As I say we all have different opinions which is good because life would be boring otherwise. Let's just get behind every player who pulls on that jersey and look forward to a better season.

We will sign a couple of ST's so morelos will have to up his game in order to keep his place, if he doesn't then he will be out the team so its over to him. Personally I think that he wastes too many chances, but hopefully he does push on under gerrard.

I'd keep morelos unless a significant offer comes in. The lad is young and should improve under Gerrard. He will have a part to play this season.

However, looking at the bury game, we cannot go into new season with just morelos and windass as our main attack threat and expect to win league.

I actually think the improvement in the team around them, highlighted the deficiencies in their areas.

I expect SG will bolster the options over the coming weeks.

Love him or loathe him, morelos is still a young player his touch will come, if he stays injury free and gets games he will score for fun, the manager and backroom staff have faith in him, they see what we don’t, there was a lot of positives on Friday night, and for a wee change there is a belief in our team, we have a born leader in our manager who is talking the talk, so sit back and watch us roar, and remember, we are the people. 🇬🇧

He scored made two with rebound shots the defence couldn’t cope with . won practically every 50/ 50 was even back defending . give the boy a break . some of the goals he scored start of last season were top class till the Ronnie crew started and he lost confidence . no wonder players find It hard and the team can’t flourish at ibrox.

I watched the game online. Morelos has good instincts and gets into good positions but lacks that bit of composure. He is only 21 and I think the composure will come in the next season or 2
Would love to see the Defoe rumour happen as I think he could be the old head that model is needs. I think give the boy time and he will get better with time
