I wonder if we just got the firat sights of the new away top when we played TNS or it they were just training tops.

04 Jul 2018 13:46:28
they have released the photos of all new tops earlier today

2.) 04 Jul 2018
04 Jul 2018 13:50:18
The tops have been announced.

3.) 04 Jul 2018
04 Jul 2018 14:44:27
An orange 3rd top and an away top with a sash. What a total embarrassment. Pandering to the moron minority and leaving decent fans with a red face.

4.) 04 Jul 2018
04 Jul 2018 14:57:39
No danger

5.) 04 Jul 2018
04 Jul 2018 15:02:39
The swag man, we have had both of these tops already so what is the difference now?

6.) 04 Jul 2018
04 Jul 2018 15:11:02
they can fly flags with protestant orange at porkheid but we can't have orange strips Paul

it’s just the rule

7.) 04 Jul 2018
04 Jul 2018 15:18:12
We had an orange top 15 years ago and it was an embarrassment then too. Should be past that in this day and age. We are a football club, not the orange order.

8.) 04 Jul 2018
04 Jul 2018 15:34:06
We need that cash mate, only reason it's back on the shelves! Imagine DK put as much money in as us fans do, we'd be in a much better state if that was the case!

9.) 04 Jul 2018
04 Jul 2018 15:36:42
If you ignore what it means then it’s a nice looking strip. but yeh I’d have to agree with you swagman. as a Christian rangers fan it does kinda irritate me that we’re going back instead off forwards with the hole orange walk themed thing not to mention the sash. No doubt the rest off my family will love it as thay don’t share the same beliefs as me. It’s 2018 not 2000 sadly though there’s more bigot fans than there are ones with a bit off decency and respect for what they wear . but on that note it’s the same with almost every club. Celtic could release a kit that has offensive meaning and the majority off Celtic fans would buy it’s just the way it is lol.

10.) 04 Jul 2018
04 Jul 2018 15:44:13
Matthews11, glad to see another voice of reason, thought I was the only one for a minute. I would like to think that you are wrong though, that bigots are the minority rather than the majority.

11.) 04 Jul 2018
04 Jul 2018 15:54:32
Swag man - I agree with you, I never felt the need to get involved with the Orange part of our support. But you cannot deny it is part of the culture of part of the SUPPORT (Not the club) .
These strips will be bought up for the reasons you suggest by people who haven't been to Ibrox in years and by people who don't give a damn.
Rightly or wrongly marketing have played a blinder, go spend a few bob and fill the coffers.

12.) 04 Jul 2018
04 Jul 2018 15:55:42
New tops are banging👍

13.) 04 Jul 2018
04 Jul 2018 15:57:34
Unfortunately the bigots are the majority

14.) 04 Jul 2018
04 Jul 2018 15:47:05
When do they actually go on sale though? Chomping at the bit here.

15.) 04 Jul 2018
04 Jul 2018 16:06:58
Wagman in this day and age how does a colour bother you so much?

16.) 04 Jul 2018
04 Jul 2018 16:23:47
It seems the 'enlightened' / 'educated' are actually quite ignorant.

I've no time for bigotry - including the orange order - but the colour orange signifies much more than what some suggest - Orange identifies a cultural heritage that many Rangers fans identify with - made up of Reformed, Protestants from across Europe from various denominations and backgrounds. That's what's symbolised by the orange of the Irish Tricolour - and it shouldn't be viewed as offensive or bigoted.

Celtic have used a cross on their away kit again this season, that ties in with their culturally catholic roots and I have no reason to be offended by the statement that makes. It's part of their history, just as nominal protestantism is linked in with ours. It's history not bigotry.

I love the kits and will happily dress my boys in all 3. They tie in with the kits we've had over the years - and they blend in with the cultural fabric of this amazing club.

17.) 04 Jul 2018
04 Jul 2018 16:31:34
As an athiest Rangers fan i see no sectarian or religious significance in our orange and blue kits its beautiful embrace it loved i then love it now . i do hate the words fenian and person as like i said i'm on the sidelines on that one but i am 100% a rangers fan and the kits are amazing its hardly an orange sash its red and blue our teams famous colours and they look beautiful again embrace it as a football team we march on yes we have protestants among our fan base we should embrace them as well have respect for every fan . if you can't post anything nice . post nothing

18.) 04 Jul 2018
04 Jul 2018 17:01:27
The away kit with the blue and red sash/ stripe surely cannot offend anyone, Many top teams including Man City and Crystal Palace have had similiar tops, Its a change from just having a mostly red or white away kit, and I think it looks great,

19.) 04 Jul 2018
04 Jul 2018 17:01:31
So if I get the away and 3rd tops for my wee boys then am a bigot? C’est la vie

20.) 04 Jul 2018
04 Jul 2018 17:03:41
Well said Simplythebest, we have a huge majority of our fans/ supporters who are Protestant, I personally think the new kits are brilliant and a huge marketing thumbs up, at the end of the day we are Rangers and we should all support the team regardless of the colour of 3rd kit, just as long as it wasn’t green! Yes we are not the Orange order bt there are plenty of our supporters who are and trust me the Orange kit will fly out the door in October, there will be queues at every stockist of the new kit, which means more money and for me that’s a thumbs up

21.) 04 Jul 2018
04 Jul 2018 17:11:03
Need to get a grip on reality here. its a football strip! Whilst we should all respect fellow teddy bears' views and beliefs, I also think some of us shouldn't be so up ourselves that we are getting offended and upset by the kit, and some fans' love/ hate of it. Bottom line is, we all love the Rangers and it's about our performances on the park that really matter. As long as we wear that badge, that should be the be all and end all. # let's go!

22.) 04 Jul 2018
04 Jul 2018 17:27:34
Its an orange football top. Get a grip. Are you real rangers fan? . You are an embarrassment. Saying our clubs in the gutter. Hanging dummy's from a stand is in the gutter. The other top is a red and blue diagonal stripe not an orange order sash.

23.) 04 Jul 2018
04 Jul 2018 18:24:25
chillienachos, do you even know what a bigot is? Its not someone that wears a shirt that is a certain colour its someone who discriminates against a PERSON, if I were to wear a shirt with King William on it that does not make me a bigot but if I was to give someone a hard time because of their religion or colour then that would make me a bigot. I will be buying the orange top and not you nor anyone else will be calling me a bigot because of it.

24.) 04 Jul 2018
04 Jul 2018 18:37:28
Swagman you epitomise everything that's wrong with this country there's an element of society that cannot wait to be offended! It's a football strip! as far as a sash it's hardly a sash that we'd see at an orange order parade
I can't believe you are a genuine fan spouting this nonsense if it offends you that much you've 2 options
Don't buy it
Stay away from ibrox if it offends your sensibility that much
I personally find it much more offensive teams who reuse to wear poppies given what it supports and remembers

25.) 04 Jul 2018
04 Jul 2018 18:47:28
See use that have a problem with the top don't by it beginning to wonder if use are real fans because no matter what I will be purchasing all 3 plus the wain so get a grip and say something positive about the team

26.) 04 Jul 2018
04 Jul 2018 19:41:32
Theswagman, you are not a rangers man. away on your own page.

27.) 04 Jul 2018
04 Jul 2018 19:43:34
I really don't see what the fuss is about. It is hardly a sash and I have seen many of this type all over the world. I think the strips look brilliant. I'm too old for the likes of these but to the fans - fill your boots!

28.) 04 Jul 2018
04 Jul 2018 19:49:10
Absolutely spot on Southend this smells of the dark side at it there's always something when we have the least bit of positive news now this has turned into some kind of soap box for the snowflake generation sick of to death of this PC nonsense

29.) 04 Jul 2018
04 Jul 2018 20:41:56
Lots of nonsense on here on the new kit. The new kit looks fantastic with style and a nod to tradition and heritage of our great club, and I’m no bigot. Commercially will be a great success.

30.) 04 Jul 2018
04 Jul 2018 20:42:04
Who it a sash? It’s a diagonal stripe and the orange order don’t wear sash’s they wear collarettes like a v-shape. Get a grip of yourselves . Absolutely pathetic. And another thing, being in the orange order or even a flute band for that matter does not automatically make you a bigot

31.) 04 Jul 2018
04 Jul 2018 21:09:43
Loving the away stip especially! The home looks slick as well.

32.) 04 Jul 2018
04 Jul 2018 21:21:59
I really enjoy the faux outrage from the gutter press.

33.) 04 Jul 2018
04 Jul 2018 22:31:13
JYF I never mentioned anything about the new strips, I've been going to Ibrox for the last 15 years and have witnessed first hand! Cheers for the history lesson tho! I'll be sure to look out for you in your new orange strip next season.

34.) 05 Jul 2018
04 Jul 2018 22:47:03
From some comments it appears that orange is a no go for Rangers colours, but why? Don’t celtic play in the Irish ‘catholic’ green? Orange is just a colour and I think some are trying to read between the lines here and create a problem that doesn’t exist! Shall we also dispense of the Red White and Blue, maybe pink methinks, but then that would be too feminist? OK pink and blue and rainbow colours for our LGBT supporters – c’mon guys get a grip!

{Ed033's Note - Maybe use tangerine as code for orange :)

35.) 05 Jul 2018
04 Jul 2018 22:59:07
Once a jolly swagman, what a muppet

36.) 05 Jul 2018
04 Jul 2018 23:07:11
People can buy or not buy whatever strip they want. personally I think it lacks class to have an orange strip. However we need money badly and the orange strip will sell like hot cakes. It is clearly a marketing ploy. We will take stick for this and rightly so. Could you imagine Bill Struth, Wallace or Souness with an orange strip. no chance.

37.) 05 Jul 2018
05 Jul 2018 00:20:53
Christian rangers fan? Both Catholics and protestants are Christians.

38.) 05 Jul 2018
05 Jul 2018 00:47:44
Lacks class? A large number of our successful team from late 90s were Dutch, hence the orange, critics go read books! As said before any rangers fan can't take offence at any strip for whatever reason these people are noising proper rangers fans up don't listen to their utter pish, Let's Go!

39.) 05 Jul 2018
04 Jul 2018 23:48:23
Spot on dlc7007 and sharpshooter. I'll buy all tops. I think they are smart. And if these certain rangers fans think I'm a biggot then f them.

40.) 05 Jul 2018
05 Jul 2018 00:33:56
Everybody was raving about the Peru strip at the WC. We release a similar design and it's bigoted / sectarian. If you are offended by a colour and a sash then you are brain dead.
P. S. Anything that gets the fans of Victim FC frothing at the mouth and Moon howling gets the thumbs up from me, especially with their double standards.

41.) 05 Jul 2018
05 Jul 2018 06:40:15
Cany wait chillie, I can see ye now dialing the emergency bigot line, "there's a man down there and he's clearly wearing an ORANGE top, there's another one, wait there's hundreds i'm so offended"

42.) 05 Jul 2018
05 Jul 2018 08:32:41
would green be good for 3rd kit! . muppet. so red again? we already have bluen white. a little change is good. orange is a colour too you know lol. imust be a biggot if i like an orange jersey eh!

43.) 05 Jul 2018
05 Jul 2018 09:09:29
Don't see the issue with the third strip being orange, it's just a colour.

Personally I wanted to see a colour we hadn't used before like a really dark navy blue or even a purple top I could buy my girls.

The third too should always just be viewed as a fashion item for all it gets used. As long as the home is royal blue, the away is white and the socks are black and red. Then the third too can be any colour they wish as long as it isn't green.

If Stevie G wins the league, should we do what we did for Advocaat and dedicate the third strip to him - making it a Liverpool replica?

44.) 05 Jul 2018
05 Jul 2018 11:44:36
Zikos, think you will find we’ve had a purple strip at least twice 1994/ 95 and 2015/ 6, and why have a Third strip the same colour as home except darker?
