According to an online blog we've got an eye on Ayoub el Kaabi, Moroccan International Striker. Seems decent, wouldn't say no!

no chance unless we have a spare 10 million plus. athletico Madrid want him. we can't sign players who are at international level unless it's really diddy countries like Scotland.

Jamie5100, I take it you just googled that and seen and old story from feb on the internet. I am only quoting from four lads had a dream from today. Maybe pie in the sky but its an up to date rumour that i'm just passing on - Quote: "Ayoub el Kaabi the Moroccan world cup striker is a player Rangers are apparently keeping an eye on, again pacey and 6 ft tall he would fit into the managers thinking. It will be extremely interesting to see if anything comes of the rumours and we do formalise any interest we may have"
Isn't Declan John an international or Bruno Alves. I take it the only cloud in Scotland today is over your house.

Obviously you must be forgetting Alves then from that diddy country Portugal who oh wait only are holders of European Championship

Alves is a fringe squad member now to be fair. He gets call ups but rarely plays.

Still good enough to get called up.

i would be just happy if we could actually get a few in the scotland squad for a change rather than the odd one here and there. am fed up watching scotland full of celtic players. why is it if celtic can buy aberdeen/ dundee/ dundee utds/ st mirrens best players and just sold a scottish international for 8 million on a mega profit. why is it we insist on constantly pursuing foreign players we have never heard of. what is our scouts doing in scotland, why are we not pursuing these guys who would be half the wages of foreign guys.

whscotsman have you forgot how hibs dealt with us with scott allan scottish teams are determined to make a mint from us and add a lot more on to the players value just because it is us i see no reason why we should line the pockets of clubs who are more interested in beating us than the current champions

I'm merley saying we will find it very difficult to attract any calibre of international who is playing for a decent country. and to answer your question did I Google it then no I am on holiday in morroco now and asked a local guy at a hotel. He said very good player and is wanted by all top European sides. we are no longer a side who can attract even semi decent internationals. just not going to happen. TJBB I'll let you live in your bubble and think it might. I've accepted that we can only attract mediocre players or ones that are passed it time for the rest to accept it.

Still think lack of Rangers/ packed with Celtic Scotland squad is down to basic Celtic bias at SFA and beyond. What annoys me is that SFA parties aren't held responsible for derisory Scotland performance.
