My 2 posts today we're in reply to other posts, so feel the need to say again, Barry Scott was part of consortium who put in 6.5 million in soft loans, he has resigned, after 4/ 5months now he's either the worst business man I've heard of or the board is clearing out ready for the new regime, not sure if any of current board will survive the cull, Gerrard sought assurances of finance. sorted, he's coming and so is the wind of change, I ask fellow bears to stick together, keep believing and all will be revealed in the coming days.

Loyalist, things are obv happening in the background, both on the Managers post and finances. Like you say, we have to think positively and hope this next couple of weeks brings good news and the turning of the tide

The director resignations were to disassociate themselves from King due to the takeover panel ruling, otherwise they would have been implicated and tarnished as obviously they are actove businessmen outside of the club. Nothing more to it.

What about the facts that King is going to be given the cold shoulder by the takeover panel - That no business will touch him and that includes Rangers. The two that left are UK business holders and that cold shoulder will affect there business hence they had no real choice but to resign or it will affect their business. If King had ponied up with the cash then they wouldn't have had to resign. I keep banging on about it but King is bad news

Paul Murray leave to protect his own business interests, what about Douglas Park has he not got a business to protect. Was he not just made vice chairman?

Scott and Murray are dealing with investment banks and with other people's money and hence are subject to more intense regulation and scrutiny and it is imperative they are not tainted. Park is in a different position. That is the reality.

Guys instead of posting garbage check the facts. KIng did not want to buy all the shares ok the takeover panel took him to court TWICE and won. King said he did not have the funds, the judge ruled King presided over 2 funds that both had plenty of funds. King made an offer from 1 of those funds, the takeover panel required proof that the fund did indeed have enough funds this has to come from the South African government that's the delay. Love King hate King but don't make up stories or straight out lie.

Douglas Park no longer runs his car/ coach business which he handed over to his son. There is no point speculating about why Murray and Scott resigned, we probably may never find out, we all want what’s best for the club so let’s just see what happens in next two weeks

My dear bluenosed brothers, I do not know all of Scott or Murray's business interests, however I'm not sure if either have made a statement since there departure, however I will reiterate my earlier point, I don't believe the new regime will have many of the directors there now in when the takeover happens, now I'm not Jesus Christ therefore can't tell you the future, I'm only reporting some of what I've heard, I'm hearing other people mention very similar things, here's one to through the cat amongst the pigeons, earlier I read on this site 50 million to be invested, well the figure I've heard is 60million, all you great unwashed out there before you ask, no I'm not on the glue blah blah blah, it's what I've heard .

Bluepete the point is that King continues to fail to adhere to the Takeover Panel and the PLC had to write to the South African government to try to get these funds released. That is public knowledge. All those hitting disagree should consider that. The two directors then said we want nothing more to do with this, which is perfectly understandable from a corporate governance perspective. I hope there is new investment coming in, I have no idea, but those trying to say their departure equals regime change are wide of the mark. If anything if that was the case they would be hanging around as long as possible to have their vote on the board, they certainly wouldn't be resigning.
