Looks like Jaime Murphy coming to Ibrox could mean Windass going down south, how much do bears think we should accept for josh?

A lot of folk seem to be pairing Murphy’s entrance with Windass’s exit. I don’t see it that way tbh.

Murphy will play wide and Windass will move into the position Kranjcar was meant to be playing on Saturday.

Unless obviously PNE want to put a real bid on the table, 2m or the club won’t sell, they can afford it so they should pay up if they want the player.

But to answer your question mate, most will laugh, however I genuinely believe 2m is what we should expect for him in today’s market. He’s one of the first names on the team sheet this season, let’s not make he same mistake as McKay again.

2 million. look at garner and waghorn ripping it up down south this season. pains me that our board/ dof take so long to act upon projected targets. young boy at st mirren going to THEM and papers are saying the you lad from Dundee is also a target. we will rue not entering the race for these kids. The tic talk all of there players up while we let ours go for a pittance, stay strong hold players for what they are worth. I've been reading post that we should try and sign Barry McKay now that Warburton has been sacked. It was really disappointing that he run down south at the first time of asking- not for me I want players who want to fight for their place at the club.

They are hardly 'ripping it up' down there? 10 goals for Waghorn and 8 for Garner. Morelos has scored 10 and should have had double that. Weouldn't want either of them back, Waghorn certainly had his chance. No to Mackay as well. If he wanted to play for Rangers he would have stayed and fought. He followed the Bread Man and backed the wrong horse. If we can get Murphy and Naismith plus the return of O'Halloran that would be good business. We've Dorrans, Wallace and Miller to come back too.

One doesn't necessarily lead to the other, in fact I'm sure it won't. There's room for both in that squad, easily.

Ripping it up down south? I don't think so.

I think if Murphy does come in, then Windass should be given a chance playing in behind the striker. Think he should be given a chance till end of the season playing there.

DOIGER, I would agree with your comments on Garner, he was a liability, but Waghprn I would have kept, he has 10 goals like you say but he's also got 7 assists.

I'd rather have had Waghorn sitting behind Morelos in the tip of the diamond than Kranjcar on Saturday put it that way.

Would be v disappointed to see windass go. Since pedro was sacked he's been a key player for us

Windass is improving as he continues to be a regular this season. His hesitancy and decision making leave a lot to be desired but he’s young and still learning his trade. What he does possess is flashes of good technical ability and some tidy link up and dribbling skills.
His finishing has improved and his fitness levels as well.
I value him at £1.5m+ and can only see his value increase so keep him or at the very least demand decent money and insert sell on clause.

I agree would like to see both Murphy and windass in the squad as we need some depth to the team and though josh’s form has been decent still think murts can get more out of him, but if he does go then yes 2m minimum is a must if we have learned from previous sales to england
