Not a great loss. His record overall is poor. Murty and mcleish to end of season then re-assess. This buys time to look at other options and to see if it works out.

wether you wanted mcinnes or not this is a totally embarassing episode for the club. the arrogance from our board is a joke they obviously feel that because he’s a bluenose we’ll bid low and he’ll do the rest by resigning scott allan all over again.

weve no option now but to give it to murty for remainder of the season we showed our hand and have failed miserabley who wants to be a plan b manager something needs to change with our board after 2 great results they have managed to drop a huge custard pie on the club

Coishy gets -spot on mate. This board don't know how to rumour club. It is patently obvious. I appreciate greatly those on it who have provided finance and kept the club alive, for doing that, but it still doesn't mean they know how to run it. And how much has King put in?

to me we now have an opportunity for our d. o. f. to work closely (as he should) with murty until the end of the season.
this appointment should be announced forthwith by the board who must now show that they are, at least, willing to make a decision that would be looked upon with a fair amount of acceptance by the fans.
having moved forward the board must now without delay move for an experienced manager who can be in place either before the end of this season (depending on the murty arrangement) or at the beginning of next.
the d. m. affair in my opinion was doomed from the beginning with all the on goings re. his assistant who would never never have been accepted anywhere near the ibrox dugout

a reassessment of the whole situation
can then be an ongoing process and a decision arrived at

fifepl your talkin utter dung for us too speak to him we had meet aberdeens demands and we didn't we haggled and sein no scottish club is interested in seeing us prosper they give us no room for negotiation the board haven't learned from previous mistakes dealing with scottish clubs

He bottled it, same as Sunderland and big matches and can't turn a match round when behind at half time. He can't make the big decisions under pressure. Why leave Aberdeen who will adore him for coming 2nd or 3rd for rangers that will always be disappointed with 2nd. I Thought he was the a safe option but had my doubts over what I previously mentioned, this confirms it for me. Don't need someone that settles for second best

Heard that we didn't speak to him at all after baldy denied permission. Said he had gone away last night to think about it. I assume He's bottled out as he always does. Better without imo
