Well if the rumours are true about McInnes then I fear for us over the next couple of seasons.

2nd will be achieved, however that will be all that is achieved under this man.

I liked him as a player at a time we were full of exceptional players, he was Scottish and decent. However he is NOT Rangers answer for the long term and for that reason I have to question this boards ability to run our club.

Anyway at the moment McInnes is not our man so I will stay cool until such times as he is or someone else is. I hope he gets nowhere near us.

I think it will be one of the following;
Gio VB
Alex Neil
N Warnock
Gary Monk
McIntyre
along with McInnes
Hopefully one of the top 3

Realistically we are looking at managers we can afford and according to King one who is in contract can we afford to pay compensation for an EPL manager I think it’s going to be an SPL manager probably McInnes maybe Wright or maybe even Robinson who would u realistically like Gdog

McIntyre? McIntyre, who?

As for your top 3, Alex Neil is a Celtic man and Neil Warnock is a total Diddy! Gio has already said he won't be leaving feyenoord so iam afraid your too 3 is ****ed. Rangers have been sifting through the unemployed candidates and that's why McInnes hasn't been approached yet. According to Mark Guidi, McInnes doesn't evdn want the Job.

@agbroxi

I would have liked to have seen Big Sam, Pulis simply to steady the ship for a couple Of seasons I know we no longer have the clout.

For me Murty is doing a job and at a very low cost, he has the ability to deliver a team that beats everyone else. McInnes is NOT better than Murty.

However if we are going to build a team for the future and set up our info structure then I would have gambled on De Boer. Yes a big risk, no bigger than McInnes. Who has achieved nothing and never will.

I would have also considered bringing back McCall, doing a great job down south with pennies!

Hi guys, I'm new here, so be gentle.

I'd go for McLeish for now, and give Murty some first team coaching experience under him.
Lovenkrands could be moved to the U-20s for now. Those kids would perform for anyone right now.

As for long term, I dunno. I don't think it has to be a Rangers Man, but it must be someone who knows how to win.
