Weiss WILL sign a pre contract in January if it is offered, spoke to the man himself and he claims to have been in contact with Pedro from he joined Rangers.

Interesting both yourself and blueblood say the same thing, you don't by any chance work in the same place? Weiss would be a great signing, a step up in quality and he would play for the badge. Exactly what we need.

He won't be signing any pre-contract as he plays outwith the eu. He could sign once he's out of contract but nothing can be done until then unless his club agrees to it.

he has another 2-3 seasons n his current contract. would be exactly what we need but it won't happen

Utter nonsense, Gustavo, pre-contract agreements have absolutely nothing to do with the EU!

Why is everyone so excited about Weiss he wasn't that great first time round and if he hadn't kissed the badge every ten mins or stood in the home end at a few matches he'd be forgotten about by now.

gustavo is actually correct, bosman deals only impact players within the EU.

Yep. Gustavo is correct, Bosman ruling was by the European court of Justice and only applies to players moving from one EU team to another.

{Ed002's Note - The Bosman ruling is recognised under both under FIFA and domestic rules applied by individual FAs - andit is recognised across the board.}

As it would apply for EU citizens.

It's a purely football matter and nothing at all to do with the EU.

Aye but all this would be relevant if he was out of contract in the summer.

Walker and McLean r available on a pre contract in January I think they will be our deals this winter if he had wanted Vlad we would have tried in the summer

Weiss ( the only man to kiss the badge more than Halliday ) . Why do you think he is the correct choice? He ain't set the football world alight since he left the first time! I'm sure we must have one or two in the youth ranks or at least would benefit and grow by getting in the first team squad rather than Vladimir! We can't go on with " he was great first time around " or " he has Rangers at heart " as if this was the case 99.9% of us on here should get at least a chance!

Because weiss is better than what we have and he has fight about him. Who cares if he kissed the badge.

Utter single fish Weiss is only on the radar cause he's in Scotland with is nations team . dead story.

He is under contract for another two seasons after this one
