Heres a wee thought, if progres can beat us I dread to think what an actual football team will do to us. What a waste of 10 million quid. Could have added 4 decent players to last years lot n finished second, cause we ain't winning anything.

I love my club but good god it's hard work being a rangers fan! Pedro is on borrowed time and will be gone before the years out!

Think this could be a blessing in disguise guys, yes Europe's a nice adventure but I think the league is a little more important this year. I'm not saying being out of Europe is what I want in any way shape or form but think it came too early is all 🤔🤔🤔🤔

We still have a couple of players to come in we had a youngster at the back partnered by a young newbie let the players settle then judge them and as dazk says the league is more important and I remember the media judging Laudrup after his first European games for us and look how that turned out

Agree we need time (we don't have much) but lack of sharpness and fitness was a worry. There were players blowing out their a***s by half time?

A polished turd is still a turd.

A blessing in disguise i'll tell the jokes.

Steady the ship we need a new captain who at least has a go at players on the park.

Denbear is that captain Alves who due to his recent internationals unavailable

Folk saying wasn't bothered about Europe is utter pi*h. You do realise there is NO money in Scottish football and without money we are not going to catch Celtic this season or next! They will likely qualify for the CL and will have more millions to spend. The board pumped extra money in to transfers in the hope we would make the group stage. That's the reality of this mess!

Alves looks like the obvious choice as my wife could boss the team better than Wallace.
I feel there are too many foregin players brought in at the one time.
We should have secured Dorrans and Walker ages ago by paying the going rate it may have been a different scoreline last night.
We have one eye on catching Celtic we should be more prepared to beat diddy teams like the one last night i mean them not us.
We needed to steady the ship before we could look at taking large steps forward and established manager should have been the first appointment not a risk with Pedro.
I'm not saying things won't get better but for god sake we have just be humiliated last night.

I'm not for one minute saying I'm not bothered bout European football but to think realistically that we could get to the group's was a huge huge ask. I'm just saying that in my opinion the main concern is to close the gap on not just Celtic but Aberdeen as well. I also think that even without European football Mr king still would have spent money. I'm trying to be positive and maybe wait until possibly October and then start poking Mr caixinha our the door if need be 😂😂😂😂😂

Although last night was awful. Didn't Strachen lose against a bad team in hit first Europeans tie? Look how successful he was.

I agree we need to see how we are in the coming season. Who knowes everything may just click.
I think with the likes of Dorrans coming on board we should be ok.
Remember most of the players he brought in are only knowen in their countries apart from Alves that is.
The worst thing to do and i'm guilty of it is to watch a player on youtube that we have signed. If you believe what you see we would be beating Barcelona and the likes every game.

GF7, what makes you think celtic will get into the champs league? they will have a task to do that

The biggest thing missing on the park is leadership and that will continue until Wallace is stripped of the captaincy and it is given to Alves. He is not captain material, when the chips are down he goes into hiding and he didn't have the decency to come out, as team captain and apologise to the fans. That was left to young Rossiter. Maybe they couldn't find Wallace since he had gone missing after about five minutes.

Gary75,

We have a right to moan and this is the most embarrassing defeat ever by a Rangers team in Europe.
Time will tell if the appointment of Caixinha is a big mistake but it might be a long season ahead

Its not as if this is unexpected. The signs were there like giant neon signs at the end of last season! Wake up guys, this clown should be shown the door now. How many more humiliations can we endure?

The team last night were woeful, however, all the new signings were not in place including Alves, who will make a significant difference. Did Brenda not fail at his first attempt in Europe against Red Imps before the run they went on? I agree the warning signs are there and to be out of Europe this soon is a financial disaster . But I think it is far too soon to put the boot into Pedro and the team, the media and all the big mouth pundits will do that for us. We need to support them and move on, we have been through worse than this! keep the faith .

Pedro has done nothing last few games of the season or this time around to say he can manage Rangers. The plan should have been to add 4 or 5 quality players to the existing squad and improve over the next 2 seasons. When PEDRO goes a new manager will come in and he will want to buy his own players, so where does the next £10mill come from. Maybe 2 or 3 of Pedro new boys will make it but he has no track record in managing a team like Rangers.

Rangers need to appoint a quality manager first then start a rebuild but if this goes pop as it looks like it will do then the club is going to go backwards again. How many games has he won since he came in, maybe 3 so that tells you he has not got it. He will rip into the players, alienate even more than he has now and leave a real mess behind him.

This isn't about being out of Europe its about the journey to restore our club as a world wide brand and our credibility. The result against Progres is THE most humbling in our history and unlike many similar embarrassments over the past 5 years and there have been TOO many of them the Progres Result resounded around Europe where many still view us as a Major Force and on our way back.

The result crushed most of the optimism we all had given player signings and Ashley going. i'm personally disgusted embarrassed and hurting for my club. There are NO excuses. The Cyprus team will crush Progres who are no better than an average Junior Team. In any other era Pedro would have been sacked on the spot.
