Weiss was brutal for us.

you must be the only rangers fan to think Weiss was brutal

He wasn't too hot at the time

Rick Witter have to agree with you. One quick free kick doesn't make you a good football player, Weiss is piss

If any of you seen him at the euros you'll know that he's matured very well as a player he was brilliant for Slovakia in the euros and that's a much higher standard than the spl

Exactly. 1 pass against Celtic and that was more or less it. Never played all the time for that reason, brutal.

Motherwellbear. My opinion on Weiss is when he played for Rangers. Not the euros as I haven't seen any of them as I stay in Australia

Weiss please no don't understand why people want him back

Rick witter so you're saying no based on who he was years and years ago and not the player he is today? Lol logical mate

I was really excited seeing Weiss come off the bench against Hibs on his debut for us, he looked a class act. Never produced it reguarly thereafter, glimpses here n there but he had a good euros and looked more consistant. Definitely take him if it was an option.

He scored a sensational goal against Russia at the euros and Played well against England too. He had a good tournament. If he is signed and consistent he would be a great addition to this piss poor squad

Weiss would be a fantastic signing! The wee man's a complete legend. He's developed well as a player and LOVES the Gers. Just what we need!

Weiss was the first player to be able to get bums off the seats with excitement in a long time! Always thought he could do something when he picked up the ball and ran at the defenders. Great player! I would guess way out our price range though and wages would b crazy.

Weiss is 10 times better than anything we have at ibrox this moment in time! I would take Naismith and Weiss back anytime because the simple reason being there quality international players! I would build my team around Naismith have wiess out on the wing buy another striker who will bang 20/ 30 goals a season and that's our frontline sorted!

So let me get this straight, one of Pedros main targets is a 35yr old defender and another player who was bang average first time at Ibrox! No wonder we are in such a god awful mess. Should be signing hungry young players who we can sell on, make some money and get the club moving forward. What the heck is going on at ibrox

Weiss for me wasnt great first time round and i think it was more to do with his antics in the crowd at the last OF game of the 2011 season that endeared him to us then his tweets since he left. That said nobody could argue that he must be better than what's there at the moment

Think pedro said in his interviews about player recruitment that he would only be wanting to sign "men". Doubt he'll be going for young hungry players, he'll want to get guys that know how to get the job done. There's less risk that way.

RonnieR9, even at 35 years old, bruno alves would still be a tremendous signing for us! Have you actually seen this guy play? He's a terrific centre half and everything we're needing! In Italy the teams there have many good defenders and in a country where defending is considered an art, bruno alves is certainly 1 of them! We would get at least 3 good years out of him in this league! Alves would breeze it playing in the spfl premiership!

I appreciate what your saying but at 35 regardless of his experience in Italy I still believe we should be signing younger players that will benefit the team in years to come. As a short term option yes he would be a good signing tho, certainly better than what we have!

I have to say when Weiss played for rangers he was a boy who showed in glimpses what he could do, he was very exciting but like Barry McKay not consistent enough, but now the boy has turned into a man and has some consistency to his game, also wears his heart on his sleeve, he would be a very welcome addition for me

Every single player we sign doesn't have to have sell on value. yes in a perfect world the majority would but we still need 1 or 2 with genuine big time experience and you don't get that from 20 year olds.
