Well bears confirmed Caixinha No 1 target. Not the best going by his record in previous jobs. Usually stays about 18 months then moves on. We need a blood and snotters man who will see the job out and isn't afraid to get stuck in. Maybe I am to quick to criticise but he needs a proper bluenose as no 2 someone who bleeds blue. Hopefully my interview goes well lol.

The guy as a COACH, is apparently very good. At Least that is what his ex players say. If we do go for him then we need to back him. If his ex players are right and he is a good coach then i reckon we are onto something here.

Caixinha has a good record and is spoken of highly in europe

We need someone who knows what they are doing regardless of who they support. God just because they "bleed blue" doesn't make them right. Halliday, weir for example. The next manager, assistant etc does not have to have any previous connection to us.

yes we do need to get right behind whoever comes in as doing anything less will hinder us big time and don't judge the man on this season and what he does between now and the end of june as he will only be able to make the team his in the summer .

we aslo will judge wether or not dave king is serious about putting us back on top of scottish football.

What do people expect, even if it is him give him a chance for f. k sake

Spoken of highly by who in Europe? Why have his last few jobs not been in Europe if he is thought of so highly

If the guy is quality and gets us results then of course he will move on, just as we expect Rodgers to move to a better job down South away from Celtic.
Right now we need a quality coach, a top quality Director of football and a Board of Directors that know what they are doing!

Bringing in 'Rangers men' docent necessarily work, especially with the low quality level being mentioned!

As far as the Board is concerned they need to get their act together, I see that they screwed up again today and had to pay Sports Direct and Green etc., legal costs when the lawyers acting for the club attempted to amend a request for documents! Right now we don't appear to be very clever across the Board especially with our lame dock Chairman and the lack of investment!

My main concern with this guy is he doesn't seem to last longer than 14 months in a position but we have to have faith the board really have done some due diligence and he really is the correct manager to take us forward.

If this Portuguese fella gets the job I'll back him just like anyone else but I've got a very bad feeling about him just hope I'm wrong

You need to forget about Brendan Rodgers. Every other post you mention him!

He coached a Mexican club to Final of CONCACAF Champions League. not quite UEFA but still a lot of good clubs in it

Read an article about him today and former players said he does not focus on defence, only attack. Surely the board can see that our defence is dreadful and we need to build from there.

The article said he always sets his teams up to attack, that is not the same as not focusing on defence.
A blind man can see we need more balance in our team so I'm sure whoever is appointed will make it a priority to rectify

I'm not bothered if he moves on just as long as he successfull same as players as long as we win things and d. o. f replaces with same hungry managers n players happy days the e. p. l the goal for all them

Apart from wenger, who has Jose not spoken highly of, especially another Portuguese coach

Rab2139 agreed. If he can come in and give us stability and allow us to mount a challenge for the title then if and when he goes, he's leaving a solid foundation for the next manager.

If he stays 12-18 months it shouldn't matter! That's the whole point in going down the DoF route.

i hate when people read between the lines and say that an article says something it clearly doesn't as if they are the only ones that have read it.
it says he is an attack minded manager it doesn't say he doesn't have a good defence and let's be honest when warbs started us playing attacking football it was a breath of fresh air.
having watched a few of his games i'd say he tries to get his teams to defend as a unit and attack as a unit which does leave space but i'd prefer to play attacking football andwin in the right way which will make it harder for celtic to beat us
