That would be an appointment that would give Brendan rogers sleepless nights (NOT) . Like Celtic we need to go and a statement in intent by bringing in a proper manager who will put bums in seats. And can we please get away from all this 'he's a rangers man' carry on!

Tommy Wright is a very good manager who will make us harder to beat bring in players willing to work for one another. The problem with the above comment regarding a statement in intent we have no money to do that.

Some of you guys are being amazingly harsh on Tommy Wright. The man must have a budget one tenth the size of ours and yet consistently finishes in the top four and he's won a cup.

Saying that, as RonnieR9 says he wouldn't exactly give BR sleepless nights but which genuine candidate would?

Naz the reason they are being harsh on wright is because they think we have a chance on Frank De Boer when realistically there's pretty much no chance he'll end up in Spain no doubt

The reason we are being harsh on Tommy Wright is he's nowhere near what we need! Has no big club experience, it's not the same managing a club like st Johnstone where teams don't just set up not to get beat off you! Less expectation on you from the fans, media goldfish bowl is more intense!
