Not that I ever thought it would happen anyways just thought I would post that Sky sports have announced that Stoke City have submitted a bid for Berahino.

How does that work isn't he able to talk to clubs now away are rangers able to talk to him some figures going about rangers would get him for about 500.000, stoke have bid around less than 20 million how does pre-contract work

That doesn't mean that he would go to them. The guy would be crazy to give up a serious share of any future sale by a non English club that got him 'on the cheap' to go to Stoke City!

Seen this as well, I never thought it would happen either tbh. stoke though, I mean it's hardly an ambitious move on the players part, stoke will never win the league, they might sneak a europa league place 1 year out of 10 and they will never win the FA cup or EFL cup. we might get a europa league place this year but we should at least always be in the mix for a European place, not this season granted but we should be challenging for the league title and should have decent cup runs

How is stoke not a better move than Rangers? We will struggle to get Europa League group stages whilst they are comfortably in the EPL. If he performs against the big clubs he will have a better chance of moving to them than he would if he performed against Hearts and St Johnstone. The reason Demebele is still being linked with big moves is because Champions League and Internation U21 performances. We can't offer that.

If we could have landed him for the 500k much like C****c did with Dembele then the only stumbling block I could see would be his wages and his desire to accept that this would probably benefit his career more than it would if he moves to stoke. Bottom line the guy has a Sulky bad attitude which was evident at his protests outside Spurs HQ on deadline day do we really want another fiasco like this? If we were to sell ourselves to him it would be - 500k which would put WBA out of pocket which might get him excited and our reluctance to hold onto him if a bid did arise in the future due to our current predicament.

I would have said that a move to a Non English Club would be a better move for him than a move to Stoke, (whether that was rangers or someone else) . He would go for £500,000 and could negotiate a signing on fee and a share of any future Sale Proceeds.

It would also be a better deal for his Agent!

If he signs for Stoke for say, £15m, then he will get 10% of the signing on fee. He could negotiate a deal with Rangers or anyone else outside of the English Leagues for a lot more!

If cash is important to him then that is a better deal than Stoke. If football is important then Stoke is equally illogical!

Let's be realistic
There's no chance on earth berahino would sign for us.
We are in the market for loan players, for the simple reason we don't have the money.
So for anyone thinking there's a 1% chance he will sign for us is deluded.
