I'm not sure letting our player of season last year leave on a free to our biggest rivals is the smartest of moves. Especially considering their stance on us.

Surely we could have made part of the mutual consent that he could not sign for hibs, or we could have demanded a small fee at very least.

What's there to be 'positive' about here? He was our stand out player last season and will strengthen our direct rivals. Only an idiot would be 'positive' about that.

Can understand McGregor wanting to go as he appeared to be not wanted. Us letting him go to them for free is madness.

Luigi your the wrong person to speak about positivity u never have a good word to say. This season is different from last and the new manager obviously doesn't rate him as highly as he was last season. But really if u release a player because u think he's not good enough what right do u have to say he can't sign for someone?

Good luck to him. He's 30 years old and has chosen to likely take a wage cut and get some playing time rather than sit and leech wages.

Let him do what he wants. Good luck to him. Decent of MW doing the right thing rather than letting him rot.

We have done the right thing by McGregor, all the best to him. Good to see us acting professionally and respectfully, and not stooping to the levels of others.
