heard there a bid in for wallace for around 1.4 million from a pl team, rangers a willing to sell if they meet there 2.5 million valuation

Cant see it mate so his value has gone up by 1m after a season in the lower leagues and is now a better player playing against part time opposition, 1.4m I think is a fair estimate.

@ wullie mac it doesn't matter what league he's in mate he's worth 2.5m nae bother

3.) 15 Jan 2014
@thebear82 that's the thing mate to scouts it matters what league he plays in, they will be asking themselves if he can do it against stronger opposition and if he is worth the risk, can you honestly tell me he's been up against PL opposition calibre players that he would face week in week out in the PL.

Need to get rid of a number of players and if decent cash is offered it will be taken, although as clubs know our situation I doubt anyone will offer even that amount.
playing staff costs have to drop by at least 15% which eqates to 8 players on average wages.

{Ed039's Note - £600-700k per year, I am sure 2 luxury players we can not afford will cover that)

Celtic fan here in peace! Miss the banter and bragging rites old firm day brought win lose or draw! Read on ss mobile site that your players have been asked to take a 15% wage cut. I also read mr Wallace trying to play down any financial fears? This is an all too fimiliar scenario! Heard that one before! Surley alarm bells must be ringing. I feel for all you decent hard working fans who have time again plough money you don't have into keeping your team going, only for every fat cat to take a slice then run for the hills! let's hope for the sake of Scottish football that this was only a trial exercise and not a sign if what's to come! We all know where that led! Sooner the old firm games are back the better.
